Some Warmer Weather Fun

Since the cold grip of winter is slowly easing off, we were able to get the kiddos out of the house for some fresh air and sunshine!

A favorite activity for most of the kids is feeding the ducks. Chad is especially fond of it. We save bits and pieces in the freezer for a few months till we have enough to go feed them.

Katya loves to watch from inside the safety of the vehicle--with the doors shut firmly! Just the thought of getting out made her look like this!

Once she realized everyone would allow her to stay safely inside with all the doors shut to protect her, she cheered up!

Charity kept a sharp eye on her from outside.

And a good time was had by all.  Both the people  . . .

AND the water fowl!

In other happy and exciting news, look at what Katya colored today!

All by herself too! Not bad for a child who less than 3 years ago had never been allowed to color, draw, or even scribble! It's so fun seeing her making progress in so many areas.
